1) Will display a recovery window when Plus! can't hook to MSN Messenger. The window will let you choose between some options to "fix" the problem. recommended setting is ON.
2) Allows you to dock the main Messenger Window (when it is not maximized) to the edge of your monitor.
quote:
from the preferences panel itself
When enabled, moving the contact list near the left or right edge of the screen attaches the window to the edge.
3) Enhances the contact list with a Plus! icon in front of each name when you hoover over a contactname in that list. If you click on that icon a few features will be presented in a menu. Just try it, if you don't like it, turn it off.
4) Will automaticly accept request for you in conversation windows. If a contact send you a file, Plus! will automaticly accept it for example. All requests will be accepted if you turn this feature on (this includes webcam, etc...)
5) Same as (3) but for the conversation window.
6) This feature will override whatever font and color your contact has choosen to use in the conversations. Can be handy if your contact has choosen a very annoying color and font...
7) if enabled Plus! will respond to the /ping command from your contacts. The ping-command is used to check if your contact has Plus or not. And it will show you if there is a lag (chat-timedelay) between you and your contact.
8) Enables the use of shortcuts like CTRL-K, CTRL-B, etc.. which are also used on IRC-clients like mIRC to format your text in conversations.
