Most plugins, which you can download from the plugins database at http://plugins.msgplus.net, have a readme that explains it all. It's most likely it either contains a setup file, or you just have to place the dll in the plugin directory (most likely C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 3\Plugins).
We can provide more detailed support if you ask specific questions, i.e. also name the plugin you wish to use
I've been trying to install the Simpsons sounds plugins to my messenger program. I have copied the files into the plugin directory but I still cant access them. I also nstalled the Audiator plugin. I can access the Audiator but I don't understand how to activate them so that I can use them during instant messaging.
According to the plugin description, you also need the Whacko Sound Patcher to make it work. If you haven't done so, download it and install it after you installed the sound plugin. You can download it from http://www.msgplus.net/pluginsdb/down/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=59.
Note: the plug-in was made for Plus! 2.20, and the patch is to make it work with Plus! 2.50. I cannot guarantee you it will work on Plus! 3.
