Hello everyone,

I am having a very annoying problem since 2 days ago!!

There is no sound when someone sends me a message or signs in .. there is no problem with the settings as I checked the sound option and still it's not working

I tried and reinstalled msn, messenger plus and InfoPen and still .. the same problem exists!

can anyone help me?? plz! thanx in advance

first question do your speakers work ? (try play some music in media player)

secound question are all the allearts ticked ?  tools > options > general > are all 4 of the alearts ticked ?

third question have you installing anything before they stopped working ?

Yeah my speakers work fine and I mentioned that I checked the sound option ..

and no I didn't install anything, so it's kinda weird why it's not working for me!

If you go to the Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Sounds Tab > If you try to play any of the MSN Messenger sounds do they work? or do they even appear in the list?

Matty. .. Thanx alot! I figured out the problem based on ur feedback! there weren't any sound assigned 2 msn and I had 2 configure that and it works perfectly now!!
