O.P. Two Messenger icons
Using Messenger 6.2.0137 and after installed MsgPlus 3.01.94, it turns out to be that it loads both Messenger 6.2 and the old Windows Messenger 4.7 at the same time when Windows start up.

Is there anyway to remove the 4.7?  I can't seem to load one account on 4.7 and another on 6.2 so it doesn't make sense to have both icons at the same time.

Any comments are appreciated.

This may be caused by a bad plugin installed in your Messenger Plus!. Disable the plugins and restart Messenger to see if the bug is solved. Thanks.

Heyo friends,

there is an easy trick to get rid of Windows Messenger. Most folks don't use a proxy server, so open Windows Messenger and go to Tools > Options > Connection.
Check the box "I use a proxy server" and click on OK.
And WM will never appear again :o) on a next start.
