RE: trojan horse downloader
Other people have previously indeed reported that their antivirus program gave warnings of a trojan being present in Messenger Plus!. However, the virus warnings and/or spyware warnings some (antivirus) programs (mainly AVG) give, are not true; these are false warnings.

It is understandable that you are a little worried when you see such a warning, and that you will not believe me right away when I say that the warning you see is a false one.

However, I do hope that after reading Note about Trojan detection, you will understand that the error is not true. It might help knowing that you are not the only one who reported it, so it's an easy mistake to make :)

This has no relevance to the issue. You don't need to go into your registry to try to fix this.

Fukafly, depending on where exactly the file is located it might just be in your System Volume Information which are your system restore points (If you are wrunning Windows XP). Also C:\system does not exist or is a vital part of Windows (What I am saying here, is a program would have to create this folder) . The folder would be C:\Windows\System32 or C:\Windows\system if it was apart of windows. (Not saying the file is for Windows, but these are directories for Windows.)  I suggest doing a full scan on your computer . When it finds the file what is the exact location of the of it.
