O.P. Huh?  found the events log back!
Hi everybody,

yesterdayI lost the events log,
but my trying to find it back had succes

It seems that if you have a'  dual monitor card
and the resolution is different of the two of them
then you loos the event log???
this looks like a' SP2 bug.

and what is funny as well is : after you change them back to the same
resolution it comes back, but when you change it back to the old setting
you keep the event log??????

so is'nt windows wonderfull??? :-)

It was no bug !

if you have a dual screencard and the resolution is not the same
I have one 21" monitor 1280/1024 and one 17" 1024/768 res.
if you put the 17"high top level (settings) then your screencard (matrix millenium) will trancelate this by loosing the top of your 17"screen.
This is what has happend here! by putting my event log window in the top part of my 17" screen I' lost it complitly !!!!

thats it!

Next time don't create a new thread please.

If your issue is solved and you want to tell this, then you need to post in your old thread to avoid confussion and cluttering (like it occured now)...

;)
