TonyKlein,
Indeed welcome to our forums. It is extremely rare that someone from such sites comes here. So
to you
much respect

May I suggest to alter the description a bit, as currently it isn't totally accurate:
Original:
Third party MSN Messenger extension that hides banner ads and adds archiving and other useful features. Bundles the hard to remove C2Media LOP parasite; the latest version of the software luckily offers you a choice during setup: make sure you install MessengerPlus WITHOUT that "sponsor program"!

Third party MSN Messenger extension that adds archiving and other
useful features. Comes with the optional,
hard to remove, C2Media LOP sponsor; each version of the software luckily offers you a choice during setup: make sure you install Messenger Plus! WITHOUT that "sponsor program" if you don't want to add adware on your computer to support Messenger Plus!.
Why:
*
hides banner ads: as of the new public beta, it no longer does this: see
http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=34015
*
optional: very important, as many people believe it is forced upon them.
*
hard to remove: if you wish, please remove this line, as it is in fact very easy to uninstall by uninstalling Messenger Plus!. This will trigger the uninstall of the sponsor also. For some reason people find it inlogic to uninstall a program to remove the things it installed :/
*
parasite > sponsor: parasite is mainly associated with spyware, trojans and viri. Wich is not what the sponsor is, it is adware only.
*
the latest version > each: since the sponsor was added, every version of Plus! had the option to opt out on the sponsorinstall. This has always been so and it was never forced upon the user.
*
if you don't want to add adware on your computer to support Messenger Plus!: I added this because that is the reason why it contains the adware sponsor. It also leaves the user to choose, instead of telling it what to do. And it fair to the user as well to Patchou.
I've seen also that you link to Sandi's site about Messenger Plus!, although it contains much more true things about it then it used to, it still has some incorrect info...
And maybe asking to add the site will be going to far I assume? Well I can try

Yes, maybe. On the other hand I could understand why it isn't listed there. Although to give complete accurate info maybe it should...
EDIt: wow, indeed quick addition of the true Messenger Plus! process.
