O.P. run time problems
this stuff looks pretty scarey to me because i don't understand it. but does anyone know what this means. I'm sensing big problems

the "open file- security warning" window appears twice or more, after me clicking and re-clicking run. but the runtime error 75 just appears repetitively everytime i click "ok" it just reapears without end.

i don't know what the error implies and how to fix it, nor do i know how to stop the windows appearing.

i need help please,
thankyou very much

i know i dont know much about this..but if u have a windows cd..put it on the drive...then reboot..start with a rescue disk then go to windows cd and install it over or after rebooting press "C"(not sure) to start from cd and recover windows..i did that to my windows (2nd option,[cause after the bootscreen it'd crash]) and it got fine...

the security thing is part of the windows security center in Service Pack 2 but it shouldt appear more than once per program if you uncheck the box that says "always ask before opening this file?"

RE: run time problems
Actually the "Path Not Found" error comes from a VB program.
It should only be displayed once, since when a runtime error happens to a vb program, the program terminates...

Can you post a list of your current open processes?
YouTube closed-captions ripper (also allows you to download videos!)

but the runtime error'75' continues to appear
perhaps after a reboot this should be fixed

i just restarted windows, no change whatsoever, and the "open file- security warning" does appear TWICE after clicking run. now i'm going to do the the windows cd thing.

yeah everything seems to be running, but i don't want the pc to suddenly crash or something, as i said i don't really understand this and i don't know what can go wrong. but yeah i'm using iexplore to post this.

I've got a dell pc, and the cd i have sais it's for "reinstalation" of windows only. nothing about repairing. and it's for service pack 1. service pack 2 was done over the internet.
