How do I change the DMA settings for my cdrom, I've gone into the device manager, and gone onto the properties for the cdrom that i'm using, and I can't find anything related to 'DMA' whatsoever...

in the device manager you don't have to go to the CDROM, but to the IDE ATA/ATAPI drivers > main IDE channel or seconday IDE channel. double click it and go to the advanced configuration tab.
note: the names are translations from the spanish version. in english the names may be different.
