i only skim read the first paragraph, but it just sounds like conventional dual processors. If you get a p4 with ht, then it acts as two logical processors, even windows shows it as two processors.

and if you get the latest prescott processors, there is a trick that can unlock 64 bit on them

No consumer motherboard can support more than 2 processors ATM.

That's a very nice Wacom board (full details)

Very nice for graphic designers, but really not something you want to play games or watch fast-action movies on.

My own seconday monitor is a Samsung SyncMaster 151N with a response rate of 25ms. Playing games on that monitor doesn't feel natural, using my other monitor (19inch Iiyama CRT) on the same system and it all goes great. Playing games on a flat panel with 50ms response rate (twice as much) must be horror.

They now have flat panels with a 7ms response rate on 17inch and even better, look for those if you want to game with it.


Oh, and 8GHz on a single CPU is coming close.... somebody recently reached 7.2GHz on a single CPU. It was only stable in the BIOS though. He needed to clock it down to 6.6GHz to boot Windows and clock it down again to 5.9GHZ to run SuperPi on it stable . Info here.

not neccasarily (sp?), it cant be too hard to grid 4 PCs together.
