Madman66,
My computer is a home computer connected directly to an ADSL Modem.  I am the computer administrator.  I believe  I did state in my original post, that I had suspended all my protective programmes before installing MsgPlus!.
You say that a registry change might resolve the problem, which key and what data needs changing or entering?  I am familiar with editing the computer registry.

In
code:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Create a new string value called "MessengerPlus3" (without quotes)
and copy into that value.
code:
"C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 3\MsgPlus.exe" /WinStart

Thank you Madman66,
That registry change has apparently resolved the problem.  I have removed the entry which I had previously put in the Start-up Folder and still MsgPlus! loads every time the computer is rebooted.  Again thank you for your help.
