I am having a few problems with msn messenger 7.0 and it also had the same problem with 6.2.

When your in a convosation and you normally would have the area to add emoticons, well mine is missing and everything else that is normally there is missing as well. Thats not all thats missing, the section at the top of the convosation where you can invite web cam, activities etc is also missing.

I have completly removed msn messenger and reinstalled it but it makes no diffrence. Please note that i am very good on computers so any techniacl langauge i will understand. I run my own network and web hosting service.

did you by any chance patch your msn messenger?

No, I have not tried any patching. To be honest i have only just found out by reading these forums that patches are availble

In a convsation window show the menu then go to the Tools menu, then go to Show tool bars. Make sure both the tool bars are checked there.
