Never happens to me tho
U could ask for it from friends who saved it from u I have given mine to my contacts n they have done the same .... i dont have this prob but when they do then i give em back their emots

If ur custom emotes keep disappearing go to C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger.

Now choose the folder corresponding to ur email adress (find out the number at: http://m00.cx/misc/msgrid.php ) and delete the "CustomEmoticons" folder in it.

Restart MSN and re-add your emotes, manually or with an adder/manager from http://www.mess.be

some reason they r back now... its no problem for me to save my emotes, i have them on my pc, but adding 300 emoticons is like an hour working -.-

i closed msn and restarted it then i lost my display pictures but got my emoticons back..
