O.P. help installing windows media player
i'm using windows 98 and after i download window media palyer 9 it says its not compatible

U may have downloaded the 9 - 10 mb wmp. That is for windows xp
There is a different 13 mb file for windows 98.
U need to get that one

Size is 13.3 Mb

this is what i like bout linux. it'll tell you the dependancy an what file you need to fix it to install it ,,Windows you wont know as easy as Linux |

- keef, do you have a previuos version of WMP on your pc? If you do, what happens if you try the update throught the program rather than downloading from the web.
