Is there a way of switching user when u have a a hidden account  and still bieng able to do ctrl, alt,delx2???

any help would be grateful

can you rephrase your question and it's a little unclear.

To switch users in XP you press Windows + L

When a user is already logged on, you can't use Ctrl+Alt+Delete to bring up the login prompt, and you need that in order to log on if your account is hidden from the welcome screen.

It's a good question... and I don't have an answer...

How about if you disable the welcome screen and you can type in your account name each time?

Then you can't use Fast User Switching.
