mine are just big calculators.....they dont even have cd-roms in my ict room?!?! but the room across the hall has flatscreens and cd-rw drives?!?!
depending on wt software the schools use it may be diferent when trying to do stuff, like my school has RM Connect 3, so theres a .reg file to disable restrictions if its that program....

Why bother doing it? I've been banned off my school network because I downloaded a tool to let me send messages over the network, I didn't know I was doing wrong at the time, I didn't know it was violating rules and we weren't allowed to do it. Network admins are unfair, even if you help them they treat you like you're a big trouble causer because it's their stuff. That happened to me even when I didn't mean any harm.
AHH Bah that just takes all the fun away from it now doesn't it? I've gotten passed my grade schools system many times but I'm still working on my High school computers. Try this: If they have not blocked access to the HD's open up note pad, any other word processing program or any program with an open dialog box. Use that dialog box to navigate to the files you want. If it is blocked type in either C:\ , F:\ or any other HD that’s on your system and click open. It should open it unless there are smart enough to block all front end paths to the drives.
was the program Net Send Destroyer? I had that and I sent 2000 net send messages to other computers. I got a saturday detention and a letter to my rents :/

Meh, honestly if you aren't using the same computer all the time (i.e. laptops) then just net send a billion times and then log off and leave. I did it and the admins were just like wtf?
To be honest, find a file explorer on the net, open it, and explore aroudn on the drives. Or go get a version of linux that fits on a floppy and boot from that . I have seen utilites on the net that will remove or bypass the user restricitions, but I am not going to supply you with links.
www.megaproxy.com works to an extent, more features when you pay for it...

Believe me, our school's IT security isn't that good.
Once they left an account with username admin and password admin on the network. It gave full access to the router (but not the server). Let alone with that, kids could have got on porn and even disabled, deleted or changed all access codes to the internet.
Secondly on the server they store all the passwords for access to the internet settings on the router in Firefox.
Their one line of defence is a virtual network control program on each computer that allows them to check what anyone is doing, unless of course they close the program which every user can without even needing to look at the processes.
They let you download .exe and .bat files, which they could easily block in their filter rules.
If I actually looked for security flaws, I'm sure I'd find a lot more. However I have no wish to do so, since all I want from the computers is an education, I don't get kicks out of "h4x0r1n" them in any way.
