hey everyone

i have msn messenger 7.0 and messenger plus 3.52 and when the automatic update window appears it downloads up to 3%-11% and then says there is error and would i like to retry the download.  after several attempts to retry it still doesnt complete the download.

can anyone help pls

If you can't download it again, try to download from mirrors at Simtel.net

Hello jmh uk, i'd be happy to assist you with this.  Please follow these instructions exactly .

Step 1: Go to "Tools" in Internet Explorer, and click "Internet Options"

Step 2: Click "Delete Files", and tick (check) the box that says "Delete all offline content" (Important: Internet Explorer may freeze momentarily while doing this; It will unfreeze).  When its done, Click "OK"

Step 3: Click Here to download Messenger Plus! 3.54 (the updated version) from a Mirror

Step 4: Follow the installation instructions.
