i read the 'sticky' about the host file redirection.  i checked my file and actually updated with entries for some unwanted sites.  btaim, i am having no luck reaching the main site of the download site. 

keep getting 'page cannot be displayed' error as if IE isnt making the trip.

also when i try to ping www.msgplus.net (64.62.180.100) or download.msgplus.net (64.62.180.101) all i get are timeouts.

i pinged somthing else which resolved/worked ok.

tracert seems to get to 64.62.249.121 and then stalls out.

any help would be appreciated.

Actually, I am experiencing the same problem; the site times out for me as well. This leads me to believe the problem isn't on your side but server related and therefore there's nothing you can do to resolve it.

If you wish to download Plus! and are now unable to, I'd suggest you download it from a mirror location (Google for MsgPlus-354.exe)

The main site appears to be working now
