kk, you might wanna try using a newer driver

the 75.90s-77.50s work wonders on even older cards, plus you'll get the extra settings

also between the 56.xx's and the 67.03's nvidia removed the 6xAA and made it 8xSSAA
erm, i went to the hardware manager thing and select my graphics card and then update drivers... it worked but it completely took away all of the features.... it sucked so im back on the older ones... or should i get them from somewhere else? (sorry havent updated graphics card manually before.... have never had too)

LOL

kk dude, that doesn't work like that :P

lol
tis kinda funny, but ima stop laughing now

ok, you needa download the driver

lucky for you, nvidia just released a new set tonight (my time)

you are using XP aren' you?

http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_77.72.html

newest set available.

also has an installer :P

if you want a copy of coolbits (it unlocks the more advanced driver settings) just pm or email me
if you have win9x/me

http://www.nvidia.com/object/win9x_77.72.html

note that if you have an english version of windows, and speal english you can just use the US driver set

saves downloading the full internation set

Hmmm, I use two screens, and I've always had a fullscreen game on one screen :P
Would be kinda pissed off if my card wouldn't allow me to though,
playing an FPS with a big black bar in the middle of the fucking crosshair ;)

Anyway, I'm not familiar with nVidia cards, but there should be an option to put it in dual-mode.
Maybe you should set it in single mode, and see if that helps.
Maybe that way Windows will recognize two monitors, like mine does, and let you choose to "Extend the windows desktop this monitor"...

Let us know if you succeeded ;)

it used to blasphemer,.. but since Forceware 62, that hasn't been an option anymore

these days you have to set it as dual view, extend horizontal, extend vertical. or clone (clone means both monitors show the same)

extend means it makes it a wide screen :P

vertical is if you have 1 monitor on top of another

and dual view is to allow 2 seperate views at the same time

dual view is slower in games though
