HEX is counting in Base 16 rather then Base 10. For example:
Dec: 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17
Hex: 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 A B C D E F 10 11
So if i were to convert 10 in hex to decimal, it would be 16. If i converted 11 in decimal to hex, it would be B.
Dec: 20 30 40 50 60
Hex: 14 1E 28 32 3C
