When you subtract the total of the two numbers from the 2-digit number, it is always a multiple of nine, then on the chart it has 9 different symbols repatitively.

when you add any of those numbers digits' together, then subtract the origional number, its always a multiple of nine. so, they make it so every nineth symbol is always the same and that when you click the ball it makes the nineth one appear
