I am interested in film making (will post my short film on here when I get it done one day) and saw this short film a few years ago at a festival. I thought I might share it to the world. The two guys who have made it have gone on to bigger and greater films (LOTR and King Kong to name a couple examples). Hope you like it!

Synopsis:
A yobbo cane toad learns the dangers of being one of the less adored icons of the Aussie landscape.

I just watched that and it's really funny, it made me and my mate Andy laugh. It's pretty gory in parts actually .

The textures were done in Photoshop and the rendering was done in Maya. On the website there are a couple of tutorials. They might help!

How did they make the skeletons for the creatures, and compile it into an animation though?

They did all that in Maya. Don't ask me how they did it, they just did. I would love to be able to do stuff like that. Would come in handy when it comes to special effects in films.

Saw this a while ago. It is quite cool. I'm doing a 3D modelling and Animation subject at uni atm, so watching this is extra cool.
