It dosnt really look nice how you've shown it I much prefer the way Ive intergrated it so its trigged with a button click.

I think when you come to add an attachment your post has to be pretty good, usually long enough. Therefore, I think most ppl use the post page

The purpose of the quickreply is that it is quick without needing to load extra images for buttons, scripts for functions and other controls (the whole bar on top of your sshot). With that bar (and other bells and whistles) it will even slowdown the page loads when viewing a thread.

The quick reply is very good as it is, if you want to attach something, choose "preview".

Anyways, this has been discussed before, as WDZ has pointed out. No need for a second thread about it...
