O.P. How to disable Ctrl + Up and Down Shortcuts? (Text Recall)
This option USED to be there, I don't want to use this message helpers, how do I disable them?

I'm pretty sure you can do it using Plus! Tweak, which can be found here:

And the entry you will need to set is "UseTextRecall", from "True" to "False".

If you want to set the shortcut keys to something else, then you can't use the version on Plus! website. Instead, you have to download the latest version that has "TextRecallShortcut" entry.

How do I do this on the new version?


EnablePreviousRecall is not on the registry anymore (Y)


Why do they keep hiding this feature...????? :@

It is enabled by default, but if you want to disable it, you can create this registry entry.

The registry key is still working as intended, you just have to restart Messenger after changing it. Please see http://www.msgpluslive.net/help/registry/ for a list of registry settings compatible with Messenger Plus! Live.

Note that this option will be available back in the preferences panel in the next version of Plus!.

Patchou I changed it and restarted messenger, but it didn't work.

I'm glad they are bringing this back to the interface, it's been a long wait, and a very annoying one! :)

I can live with this until the new version is released, thanks!
