Hey, you guys ever run into something like this. When i'm running both MSN and Msg+, I can't get into the msn messenger options at all. It will generate an error and force messenger to crash. If i load up messenger without msg+, then no problems, I am able to access them and change whatever options. I can't even change my display name while running the 2 simultaneously. Mind you I can still access the msg+ preferences. I am currently running messenger 7.5.0324, and msg+ 3.62.146. Anyone have any ideas?

What does the error say exactly?

Other add-ons, SmileyCentral?

Any plugins? Stuffplug NG maybe (if so turn off the tabmanager)?

The program simply doesn't respond after going to tools --> options. I hear my default windows sound, and nothing happens. A few seconds later the window pops up indicating that

"Messenger has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

And then asks me if I would like to send off an error report to microsoft.

As for plugins, I currently have installed Screenshot Sender 3, File transfer Plus 1.1, and StuffPlug-NG.

I've just disabled the tabmanager and going to test that, see if it should make any difference.

Anyone run into something like this before?

Yes: it's a known bug with SPNG.

The Tab manager, SHOULD hopefully be fixed in the next version of stuffplug (whenever that happens), it's been reported on the stuffplug forums way too many times for it not to be
