Hey, I'd like to install WLM on my 2nd HDD so I can keep my version of 7.5, since I'm not willing to make a switch to WLM until its a proper release and theres Plus Live, stuffplug or similar, and messpatch for it, and I'd just like to test it rather than use it as my main messenger.

So any idea's how I can install it to my 2nd HDD?

fyi: 7.5 is on my 1st HDD.

rename your 7.5 folder in your program files something other than MSN Messenger. then you will be able to keep both. works for me

I should then be able to use an app I have to move the program files over to my 2nd HDD.

you wont be able to install to another HDD as the installer wont let you. so the only way is to rename the folder

You missed what I said, I shall install on my main HDD, then move the program files over using an app.

Can't you just change your program files path in your register?

Search for ProgramFilesDir and change it from c:\Program Files to driveletterofthesecondharddrive:\Program Files .
(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion)

You may  have to change Program Files key to c:\Program Files to driveletterofthesecondharddrive:\Program Files
(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurentControlSet\Control\SessionManagement\Environment

I haven't tested this so you must rename just in case it don't work. And if you don't want your program files to be there you have to change it back afterwards.
