O.P. Huh?  Windows Live Messenger Beta 8.0.0566 Crashes When Closing Main Window
Windows Live Messenger Beta 8.0.0566 crashes on all my PCs every time I close the main window. If I don't close the main window or if I don't open the main window, everything else works fine. Any ideas what could be causing this?

No I don't, but I have the exact same problem. I issued a bug report to Microsoft.

Edit: You should send the error report to Microsoft, because apparently the beta team reads them.
