Sorry if this is in the wrong area, I did have a proper look at them all before posting.

Just a thought on options applicable to custom contact groups (e.g. "Boys", and "Girls");
Being able to select for the toast popups to appear/not appear for certain groups, e.g. having them appear for the "Girls" group, and not for "Boys" group.

Hope something like this would be useful to people other than just me, heh.

I think it's already possible: just check the Notifications section of Preferences.

Maybe it's just me, but I only can't find the option to change the sign in/out sounds for certain groups/contacts... not for displaying a popup for specific groups...
I could be wrong of course, can someone confirm this?

I dont think there is a feature like that. Its a good idea.

I think Plus! will only display a popup for those which have sounds assigned. I'm checking right this minute.

OK, it only plays a sound. It doesn't show a toast as well.

Right now I'm just gonna leave the toasts off altogether, I just want them for people I talk to most, rather than for people I need on my list, but don't talk to much, which happens to be most of my list .
