We're more than happy to announce that the new version of SweetIM is perfectly compatible with Windows Live Messenger 8, and it is now public on our website.
We didn't even had the time to update our website yet, but don't worry - it's working:

For those of you who are hooked up to the World Cup (who isn't ??) - we've prepared a special World Cup content pack, that includes over a hundred emoticons, winks, sounds, and display pictures !! You can find it in our menus !

As said, there are TONS of more, including all countries...


Now for some more important issue: Messenger Plus! compatibility !
The past year was a blast,  and believe it or not, the results of the hard work and efforts are Millions of active users !    Since we know Messenger Plus! has the same numbers, then most likely many of our users are Messenger Plus!'s users as well.
We'd like to do our best to support the upcoming new version of Messenger Plus!, however - all we've got by now is a leaked version of it, which means we have no idea what it'll be like.  The good news are - it doesn't seems like we have any major problem working with this version.
Patchou - if you are reading this, please PM me or contact us any other way. I would suggest that you'll try our new version yourself anyway,  and see if it works with the new Plus!.

If any of you beta testers are using both applications - any feedback regarding the compatibility will help !

I have WLM + MP!L + SweetIM installed on a VM, do check if it would work with it or not (I was curious...)
And it seems to work fine by taking a quick look

To tell you the truth, I have never used SweetIM before, but I installed a few days ago just to check compatibility, and it seems to work very well

I haven't tried it yet, but I will this week when I get home.. By the way, just a tip, try doing an ad-free website and more professional That will surely boost your software!

well since you are using the leaked version problems can be expected, you should probualy contact Patchou himself, i should also mention the public beta that MAY be coming out soon, but thats all up to when WLM is coming out, along with weather patchou feels its right to release it

i never tried this program, it sound interesting, downloading

For it to work, your contacts need to have it installed as well.
I installed it, but because nobody else had it, i found it pretty much useless :/

It does? Nobody (literally) on my list has ever heard of sweetim let alone regularly uses it.

That's the United kingdom's flag, not England's :/
