Does anyone know a way to stop offline contacts coming up in the send a message window?

or you can block these contacts

If you mean to stop someone who's online to send messsages. Sorry to say it can be done.

But if you mean to say that stop recieveing messages while offline then yes this can be done.

no, what i mean is in the "Send an Instant Message", because of offline messaging, then all my contacts are there. I have about 90 contacts, so it is annoying, as it takes a while to see who is online or not. What i want, is to only see the people who are online, or at least see those who are online at the top.

If we're talking WLM, then you can search the list using the box at the top.

yes, for 1 contact, but there is no way to just see all online contacts

main window > contacts > filter contacts > online contacts only
or
main window > contacts > sory contacts by > status
