O.P. Huh?  2 things
I have two questions and I think that they can be easily answered.
1) I'm really confused about how to get colors into your display name.
2) My computer doesn't allow me to have windows live messenger 8.0 and msn messenger plus at the same time. iS there a reason or a way to fix that?

Not sure what you are refering too as Messenger Plus! Live is dependent on Windows Live Messenger installed. Do you mean you cannot use Windows Live Messenger and MSN Messenger at the same time?

Go to personal settings > Display names and use format codes to add colors and effects :)

1. Install MSN Messenger 7.5 (If you already have it installed you don’t need to)

2. Rename the MSN Messenger folder to MSN Messenger 2 (usually located in C:/Program Files)

3. Install Windows Live Messenger.

4. Apply a polygamy patch A-Patch [ http://apatch.ikhost.com/wlm.php ] to both Messengers, or to the one you plan to open second.

5. Then change all the paths of the shortcuts to MSNM 7.5 to C: Program Files/MSN Messenger 2/msnmsgr.exe.
