The scripts in the menus on the contactlist and conversation window don't seem to be sorted in any way. I already have quite a few scripts installed (about all of them, because I test them before adding to the DB) and it's getting hard to quickly find a script now. Could these lists be sorted by the name of the script?

I totally want this too... for same reasons, I have too many stuff in that list to find anything quickly....

Finding something in dropdown box in debug window is a lot easier (as it is sorted).

Ditto. I'm not sure if its random that one computer does it and one dosnt (in this case 2 and 2) or if theres a bug or something in there.

Hmm, interesting... It only sorts the list after you restart WLM. Anything you install will be added at the bottom of the list until you restart WLM.

Probably because it does it by the order in which the scripts load. The script load alphabastically anyway so they hook by order of name. When you add a new script it is the last to hook and appears on the bottom .

Makes sense. But I still hope Patch can make it sort without restarting too. WLM keep running here for as long as my PC runs... which can be like weeks straight. And I can also imagine it confuses other users when a menu item is suddenly at another place after restarting.

it's jsut an optimisation limitation... I'll fix it eventually but it's not really on top of the priority list

while nothing is done, you can try this:

- deactivate all the scripts;
- activate all the scripts again.

doing this, they will be sorted alfabetically

restarting WLM would be much more convenient.
