Designed as a companion piece to World Cup Live 2006, on request of several people.

It will toast you the latest scores as they happen, allows you to select what courts you want scores from and can set a court to your PSM.

I'm too tired after coding it to write anymore. |-)

Try it, enjoy! ;)

EDIT:  And iTunes+ has reached highest rated script in the DB. :O  Mainly because Plus!Mail has been rated down... but still!

Nice .... trying it out :)

Tbh a general script could be made with only the bbc channel feed to be edited for live sports scores if possible but it would be really complicated and it wouldnt (obviously) be in such detail :(

Do the BBC actually have a feed with scores in it?  I've only ever found feeds with news/articles.

Anyway, yes, as you say, it would be difficult and wouldn't be as good, so why not stick with mini scripts that do the job well. :)

Hm, you're right, I don't... I figured since it used a public website, it would really be the same as people just looking at the page, and the BBC isn't showing adverts so they aren't losing revenue, everybody wins... but if you want me to remove the script or make any changes, let me know.

I'll go make myself a dang quesa-dilluh. :P

EDIT:  Woah, um... the post I was replying to just disappeared.  *-)

Sorry I removed my post as I did not want to start a long discussion.

Although your motives are innocent, there are many people online ripping off score information from Wimbledon's official sources. There are people that track down anyone that rip data and re-publish for personal gain. It's all about rights management and protecting assets, however once in the public domain things get slightly confused.

What's more worrying is you are endorsing the data with the Official Wimbledon Logo. That is copyright and will get you into bother. I suggest you remove that as soon as you can.

Thanks

erm, yeah all you have to say is all rights reserved to the tennis org. dont you?   Because you're not gaining any money or anything - all for personal use and giving it to a few people, sharing
