Hey everybody, i'm using the latest versions of WLM and plus!, and i have a problem, even if i tick the "play sounds while busy" box, it still doesn't work, does somebody know how to fix this? Thx

Look at the other options.

"Don't play sounds when my Current Media is set"
"Allow built-in sounds to be played"

Are either of those ticked? If so, that may be stopping the sounds.

nope, they aren't ticked...

Try ticking the second one.

Also, which sounds specifically are you having trouble with?

ok i've ticked both "all built in sounds" and "play sounds while busy" boxes. It still doesn't work... i want to be notified when someone's signing or when i receive an email.

PS: sorry if my english is to bad, but i'm French.

Are these plus! notifications or the standard Windows Live Messenger notifications?

i just would like to get notified by Windows Live Messenger as if i wasn't "busy", like i thought the Plus! option was meant for... but there are no notifications at all.

The option in the Plus! preferences applies to Plus! sounds only. If these notifications are Messenger notifications, not Plus! notifications, then they will not show when your status is busy.
