O.P. Help! MSN content plus register alert
I am having trouble with my Messenger Plus. A pop up that says my msn trial time is expired (I thought this was a freeware?). I have tried to uninstall Messenger Plus. at the end of the uninstallation, it said the rest of the preference files will be removed after the next reboot. i rebooted and am still getting this pop up. every time i click OK, it shuts down my msn. Please help.

i am currently using msn 8.1 beta and Messenger Plus! live ver. 4.10 (build 250).

Messenger Plus! Live or Messenger Plus! 3 would NEVER have an expiry period.

Messenger Plus! Live or Messenger Plus! 3 are freeware with an optional sponsor program.

You are talking about another program which I suspect by the title of this thread is MSN Content Plus! which has nothing to do with Messenger Plus! Live or Messenger Plus! 3

well then it's some other program you have installed.

Do you have something like sweetim or smiley central installed, as those programs are more likely going to bring up and expiry period notification.

As I said before Messenger Plus! never has and never will bring up that sort of notification.

MSN Content Plus and Messenger Plus! Live are two entirely different applications. Messenger Plus! is a freeware where as MSN Content Plus ain't. CookieRevised's reply to MSN Content Plus...help.

Hello there, did you get any solution to that msn content plus pop up thing?  And if so, how did you get rid of the darn thing.  I've had it showing on my pc for months now and have no idea how to make it go away.  I tried uninstalling all the msn content-winks etc but it just doesnt go away.  Any suggestion you have would be welcome, many thanks, Lyne
