I need to block messenger from sending "what i'm listening to" info to my contacts, and disabling it from the player is not enough. i'm using a script that needs the listening to to be active, but i'd like to also block the information from being send... is there a way/script to do this?

What do you mean with "disabling it from the player"? The right way would be to go in your Windows Media Player menu to Tools > Plug-ins > Untick Messenger Music Plug-in. (or something likely)

yes.. but i use  a script based on the "listening to" function, so that i still need it enabled from messenger, altought i've unticked the plugin in mediaplayer.  my problem is that messenger sends my psm as if sending music infos, (blue underlined and with codes for colours visible) and i DON'T want this to happen! any idea? ^_^

Ohhhh!!! So you don't want the info displayed as a music link...
You can use a Patch like A-Patch to don't have music link on PSM, BUT the others are able to see it as one...
And, if I remember, when you tick this opition, the Patch give a warning itself that some functions can be turned off too...

Edit: If the problem is to show music inded your program on PSM, try to run the program before WMP

for me this is already true. i don't see them as a music link. the problem is that others WILL see them that way... i wonder if they could see my psm as a normal one somehow!
