How can i get my anti virus (AVG) to scan a file when its finished downloading?
because i may be asleep while its done and incase theres anything wrong i'd like AVG to remove it straight away.

A quick google search came up with ClamWin Antivirus Glue which will scan files downloaded automatcially with ClamAV.

However, I don't know of any way of automatically integrating AVG into it.

AVG has live protect, I think, so it should automatically scan any new file that is created anyway.

Tools -> Options -> File Sharing

Tick the box titled "Scan files for viruses using:"

Click Browse and locate the AVG Program Folder
(Normally: C:\Program Files\Grisoft\AVG Free)

Then select "avgscan.exe"
(Avgscan.exe is the command line scanner)
