Know quickly the current time of the person in is country during chat...possible?

O.P. Know quickly the current time of the person in is country during chat...possible?

Hy guys, want to know if it exist and if not if it's possibile to have a script that told me quickly the exact time date of the person with who i'm chatting...I usually chat with people in Colombia, America, Canada and so on with different time respect Italy so...just ask

Stuffplug 3 does something like this. But that requires your contact to also have Stuffplug 3.

your contact doesnt NEED it but only if you know their timezone ;)

the thing for your contact also needing stuff plug is for the auto get timezone

Yeah, you're right.
To automatically retrieve time zone, both needs Stuffplug 3. And that's what he asked for. :)
You can always ask the time zone, anyway. :)

Not possible.
Because the time zone information is normally sent never send in the protocol messages to/from the Messenger server. :(

Edit: If you know he's GMT difference, you can use http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/ to find out his time.

Hmm, someone could always code a script to get the IP of the contact that your talking to then use some online service to check what country the ip matches, only problem is that this probably won't always be correct and won't be precise.

There's a script called TimeZone which adds a clock in your conversation windows, but again: you need to know the time difference.
