O.P. WLM deleting files after file transfer (Windows saying unsafe & blocking)
Has anyone had an issue with WLM with regards files that have been transferred from contacts and then after the file has t/ferred, you open it in the chat window and an error msg comes up saying that Windows found the file to be unsafe and has removed it/blocked it from access?

This has happened a few times and I know it's not the firewall/antivirus software doing it - it's a windows based issue..

Any ideas??

Set WLM to check files after you recieved them (Tools > Options > File Transfer). You can also prevent this from happening by going to the received files folder manually instead of clicking the link in the conversation window.

run this registry file, it disables the silly protection that causes that
