How do i get my name to be colorful?

It's done use formatting codes

there should be a button next to your nickname saying format codes, click that.

[b]this will be bold[/b]

[c=4]this will be red text[/c]

Option 1:
1. Type "/nick" (without quotes)
2. Press Ctrl + R on your keyboard
3. choose your colour
4. type your nickname between the 2 boxes presented
5. press enter

Option 2:
Tools -> Options -> Personal -> Format Codes button will help you out.
