Yeah its really annoyinng, firefox just keeps randomly freezing for about 10 seconds and then works again, ive tried uninstalling and re-insatlling.

How much RAM do you have?
How much firefox uses?

I have 2GB RAM but i dont know how much firefoz uses
Task manager says 1 CPU and 67672K

Start -> Run -> firefox -profilemanager
Try creating a new profile and see if that helps.
If it doesn't then try renaming/deleting your "plugins" directory that is located to "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox" (or wherever you installed Firefox).

Ive figured it out now, thanks though, it was one of my themes i had installed lol
