What was messenger plus created in?

So its c++? I thought that was for games.

C++ can be used in many kinds of applications. It's not just used in games. =P

Most of the programs you work with are written in C++, including Windows itself.

Games are in fact quite often not directly written in C++. Many times very dedicated tools are used for games (although those higher programming languages are based upon C++ or have backbones written in C++).
