Hy!
If you have a contact on the desktop and that particular contact sends you a message, it blinks. Chat window is also opened.
Can it be made that only the contact blinks and the chat window doesent open?
Is it possible to achieve that with a script?
Messenger doesn't open a conversation window when a new message from someone arrives, are you mistaken? If you are talking about the blinking button in taskbar, then no, it is not possible. At most, a script can instantly close the window after your contact messages you but that won't help you at all I think.

Er, yes it does else how do you read the message? AFAIK, it is not possible or advisable to stop the window opening...
I mean the window doesn't take the focus, it blinks in the taskbar, that is why I can't understand why Trotelj wants something like this.

Messenger Plus has a feature of showing your contacts on the desktop. And that desktop contact blinks not the chat window in the taskbar. I'm asking if there is a way, that only the desktop contact blinks and that I can read the message only if I click on it (the desktop contact).
Erm, too late reply, still it is good to see you're replying .
With a new message from a contact, a conversation window has to be opened, but you can prevent it from blinking in the taskbar with Enhancer script. Search Scritps Database for it.
