Some peeople appear offline when there status is set to Online... some of me and my Friends have been having this problem.... and its been happening on alot of the types of MSN... is it just MSN or is it the hotmail acconts?

This is sometimes caused by server issues.

Have you (and they) tried signing out and in again, this sometimes cures the problem.

yes it works the odd time but its hard to tell if you appear offline to them.  cuz like they dont know ur online till you message them... but sometimes i appear offlien to them and they appear offline to me at exact same time.

Are you on an unreliable internet connection?

Not really sure what to suggest, but if you are both aware of the problem then if you want to talk to the person, just send a message......if they are online they will respond, if they are offline then they won't.

yea we have been doing that and no i have the best internet i can get now... i thought it was that to. but apparently its happening to alot of people world wide..
