I've read a few threads on here, especially the main sticky's and can't resolve my problem whatever I try.

I have upgraded to 2009 Beta, no problem with that. I installed the MsgPlusLive-479 from the main site, installs with no problems. Startup MSN and there's no "Plus" in the toolbar

I've checked if I have Smiley Central etc, but I've only just cleanly installed Vista, so there is no signs of them.

Any ideas?

Firstly, uninstall both.

Then download and install WLM 2009 (beta) and Msg Plus! Live (beta).

Where can I get Msg Plus! Live 4.79 (beta) for WLM 2009 (beta)?

They're both compatible with each other, so you should have no problems. Hopefully a re-install will fix the problem. Double check you're downloading the correct versions.

Open Messenger Plus Preferences

Click the 'Customize' tab at the top

Ensure that the option "Allow me to connect to several accounts simultaneously" is selected

Click on WLM from your start menu and it should open a second instance

I've uninstalled the Beta and Messenger Plus from above and still the same problem, Plus isn't even showing up on my MSN toolbar at the top next to Tools and Help

No sign of Messenger Plus! inside my Live Messenger 2009!





Second time I try to reinstall it...

what if you navigate to the Messenger Plus Folder an Double click on the MsgPlusLive icon ..will it then hook onto Messenger ?

deano2uk and viniciusrsouza, check C:\Program Files\ folder and see if there's a Messenger Plus! Live folder.

Note: C is the default letter for your main hard drive, it can vary depending on what hard drive you've installed Windows to. Replace C with your hard drive letter.

If there's a folder and contents (screenshot below) then it has installed correctly, but has unsuccessfully hooked onto Messenger. If there's no folder and no contents, it's unsuccessfully installed.

Also have this issue. Plus files are there, but it is not in wlm. 64bit os is used, so it is program files (x86).

I'm using Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 and it's the x86 (32 Bits) version!

Is this a problem only when using Vista?
