i'm getting this error when i try to install this messenger it says:
there was a problem with this installation. windows live suite was not installed.
system error details
code:0x800b0003
description: the form specified for the subject is not supported or known by the specified trust provider.
anyone how i could fix this problem? it won't let me install after this.

are you trying to install Live Messenger 8.5 with any Live RC installed?
(if so, just unistall those RCs... or if you want to keep them, ask a friend for a copy of messenger's folder, you'll be able to launch 8.5 directly from the copyed folder =P)
