Got it working on my Mac Mail now

Here's the settings:

• POP server: pop3.live.com
• POP SSL required? Yes
• User name: Your Windows Live ID, for example yourname@hotmail.com
• Password: The password you usually use to sign in to Hotmail or Windows Live
• SMTP server: smtp.live.com
• Authentication required? Yes (this matches your POP username and password)
• TLS/SSL required? Yes

Good, now I can let GMail catch mail from Live accounts .

Patchou should auto-populate server/port/username/SSL fields for hotmail/msn/live addresses in new Plus!.

people are gonna be so happy about this with plus =p

Still keeps failing authentication here... I guess I wait for the official announcement.

Sadly it doesn't work for me, I'll try changing my country to the UK and see if I'm lucky.

I can stop my hotmail forwarding to gmail now just so I can get it on my iPhone!

i've always had pop3 with my account, then again i did create it with that hack to get free hotmail/msn plus a few years ago

Bah... not available here yet (as always ¬¬).
At least Windows Live Mail can handle html... no problems with Hotmail.

Most other countries got it before USA did, unfortunately Brazil mustn't of been included.
