It's very VERY fun, you can make like your own games inside a game, I made an obstacle course with VERY fast spinners that launch you in the air

Lord of the Rings: Conquest online is pretty fun =P I like pwning everyone as Gandalf in Hero Team Death Match (It's 8 vs 8). Actual gameplay of the game is kinda lame though, I haven't even finished it (but you can play it as two people if you want, as evil or good)

I enjoyed:

• Killzone 2
  
• Little Big Planet
  
• Wipeout HD (is this online? Either way it's amazing, so get it)
  
• Call of Duty: World at War
  
• Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

There aren't that many good online games on the PS3, unfortunately because the PS3 Network is free, then people suffer the consequence of users with awful connections far too often, which tends to ruin the games.

All the good FPS' are 1 Player .

I have no preference to what genre they are, frankly I just am amazed there are not that many multiplayer games

As far as I am aware, Wipeout HD is only a 2 player offline and then you can go up against another 7 player over the PSN. Worth the money though

It really is, I stayed up until about 3 in the morning playing that game, the visuals are unbelievable on a decent TV.

Yeah, I've only started to appreciated my PS3  2 years after I got it seeing as I now have it hooked up to a TV via the HDMI cable

Only played a PS3 once and I played Killzone 2 (A Month before it came out ftw) Anyway, It...Was...Awesome. Made me want to sell my 360, Well maybe not, But if PS3 has some better games then I'd buy one.
