Here is a plugin that I made that changes your contact's status (if he also has the plugin). You use the following commands:

• /xonline
  
• /xbusy
  
• /xbrb
  
• /xaway
  
• /xonphone
  
• /xlunch
  
• /xappearoffline

Segosa's instructions are in the Zip file.

why should you contact install this?

Sorry, I think I'll give this one a miss.  Why install that if it allows someone else to change my status?  I set my status for a reason you know.  Besides, I do think this is against privacy.

I also see you have copied the readme that Segosa made.  If you are going to make any plugin at least write your own documentation.

yeah, i admit it. sorry, but i was in a hurry. now the instructions say at the bottom: thanks to segosa for the instructions.

i'll try to improve the plugin so that your contact has to send Yes or something like that before you can change their status.

No offense zigomar,  but I don't think I would bother.  I can't understand why anyone would want to use such a plugin,  but that's just my opinion

for the fun of being able to change your contact's status. it's just experimental. its like remote control in many msn addons. i know that nobody will use it after they've tested it a few times.
maybe i'll add some functions like blocking someone, sending messages to a specific person.... but first, i'll have to figure out a way to make it so that the person you are chatting to has to agree.

I can think of a use, if you run a msn-bot on a distant server or something....

You could add the option of telling who can change the contact status....

I find the plug-in usefull for this purpouse...
