People usually don't even know that its patchou's avatar when choosing it. They just like it
and after 3 months they visit again the forums and realise that the mysterious guy who created Messenger Plus uses their avatar too. They usually don't do it intentionally.
IMHO, patchou should just change his avatar to something original, so that he differentiates himself from the standard users.
